Goris, Armenia - The Lachin Corridor Blockade
All images were made January 2023 on location in Goris and Lachin Corridor (Armenia) as part of my short film The Blockade. The images with the EU and UK Union Jack are symbols of the non-engagement by both. The background shows the Lachin Corridor pointing at Nagorno-Karabakh. The gas pipeline (yellow pipes) demonstrates the economic interest that is at stake. The teenagers are shot in the form of mug-shots - standing in as prisoners of their geography.
